Playing on vintage equipment, their
live show is a 60's-orientated, wild and trashy punkrock-experience
with that kinda charme all boys die for...THE BOONARAAAS! were founded in 1995, played their first gig at the first 'Thunderbaby - Kittenblood - Festival 1' convincing the enthusiastically audience! At their funny shows bassist Trich jumps around and sings along in a brilliant, sassy way. Two girls are definitely twins, Christina plays her drums & sings as cool as needed and her sister Susanne gets into the action with a rough but catchy guitarsound. In 1999 the Boonaraaas became a hot girly-four-piece, Veronika joins them on second guitar. Their sound is a little more 'fat' but still authenic 'girl-beat'! That's the way it should be: FUN! Hailing from Düsseldorf/ Solingen/Essen they released 1995 their Debut 7"-single 'She-Sound 2000' on THUNDERBABY Records, 4 Songs limited to 500 pcs. on colored vinyl. Sold out!! The next 7"EP followed 1997 'The incredible return of the Boonaraaas!'`on THUNDERBABY Rec. 4 Songs, lim. 1000 pcs. on yellow wax, great fold-up-comic-poster & sticker! sold out!!
