Bert Papenfuß was born in
1956 and was a skilled electronic craftsman and confident rocker.
Like Henrik Gericke he belonged to the literature scene of Prenzlauer
Berg / Berlin, which developed in the end of the 1970s from men of
letters, musicians and other artists. It doesn´t upset him that
one calls him poetry writing leather jacket of Prenzlauer Berg.
In 1998 the well- known Erich-Fried-Price was awarded to him.
One year later he starts in Berlin Tanzwirtschaft Kaffee
Burger and organises various events like readings among
others Wladimer Kaminer`s, whose by now legendary Russendisko
(Russian Disco) takes place there as well. He tirelessly offers above
all northeastern European bands possiblities for gigs.
Papenfuß still publishes numerous poems and pamphlets. He writes
the serial novel Tanzwirtschaft and is a member
of the editorial staff of the anarchistic magazine Gegner
(Opponent / Enemy).
At the Punk! Kongress he will ask the right questions to Henrik
Gericke, Michael Pankow Boehlke,
and Ronald Galenza about the topic
