The (International) Noise Conspiracy, Tokyo Sex Destruction from Spain play at reckless tempos and levels of distortion. It’s an explosive fusion of refined garage rock'n roll, gospel-style soul music, syncopated handclaps, guitar breaks, vituperative street politics, ”yeah yeah yeahs” and ”hey hey heys”.

When Tokyo Sex Destruction where playing in the US on the same bill with Jon Spencers Blues Explosion; The Mooney Suzuki, The Fleshtones and Zen Guerilla, their stage act was charismatic and sexy both in sound and appearance.

At the Punk! Kongress Tokyo Sex Destruction will present their new album, “Black Noise Is The new Sound”, which came out on Trans Solar Records and delight us with their known and beloved material.

The band members where all adopting the last name Sinclair in honour of '60s radical John Sinclair, founder of the White Panthers, who managed the legendary MC5 and tried to politicize them. Michael Davis, bassist of MC5, was so enthusiastic about the band that he decided, together with his wife Angela Davis (former member of the Black Panther Party and civil rights activist) to produce some tracks for their album. There is a rumour that Tokyo Sex Destruction will be the warm-up band for MC5 on their next European tour.
